REBECCA B. GOLDSTEIN

Rebecca ``Bea'' Banks Goldstein of the 1700 block of Grove Court, died Nov. 12, 1995, in Norfolk.

Mrs. Goldstein was a native of Portsmouth and was a member of Temple Israel Congregation and a member of its Chevra Kadisha for over 20 years. She was formerly employed by Seaboard Railroad and retired from Nationwide Medical Services.

Mrs. Goldstein was a member of the Sisterhood of Temple Israel and B'Nai Israel. She was a lifelong member of the Hadassah and a past board member. She was a past board member of the Jewish Hebrew Academy of Tidewater and O.R.T.

Survivors include her husband, Theodore ``Teddy'' Goldstein; a daughter, Kathy Goldstein of Chesapeake; a son, William ``Willie'' Goldstein of Norfolk; three sisters, Trudy Dayanim of Portsmouth, Irene Mazel of Norfolk and Flora Emden of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a brother, Howard Banks of Norfolk.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Michael E. Panitz, Rabbi Israel Bornstein and Cantor Yael Fischman. The family will receive friends at 924-A St. Andrew's Reach in Chesapeake. Memorial donations may be made to Temple Israel and B'Nai Israel or a charity of choice. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
