Andrew Lintz ``Andy'' Leonard, 87, of the 500 block of Maryland Ave., died Sunday, Nov. 12, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.

He was a native of Portsmouth. He had been retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard Shops (NU)31 and (NU)35 for 34 years. He was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church. He was a past master of Seaboard Lodge (NU)56, AF & AM, where he had been a member for 53 years and treasurer for 37 years. He was also treasurer emeritus of Seaboard Lodge. He was a member of Mount Horeb Royal Arch Chapter (NU)11, where he was a past high priest, past district deputy grand high priest and treasurer for 27 years. He had also been a member of the Masonic Temple Board of Trustees at 463 Court St., Portsmouth and its treasurer for 10 years. He was also a 32nd degree member of Portsmouth Scottish Rite Bodies and a member of J. Leon Codd Council (NU)99, Allied Masonic Degrees.

He is survived by three nieces, Jane Clark of Chesapeake and Clair and Lucille Leonard of California and three nephews, Gene Leonard of California and Phillip and Bill Leonard of Texas, and good friend Margaret Litchfield of Norfolk.

A funeral service will be conducted at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery with Masonic rites. Family and friends will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight.

``Andy'' did love his Masonry.
