Raymond Ove Yensen, 71, of the 100 block of Snead Fairway, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 1995, in his residence.
He was a native of Chesapeake and was a Baptist. He retired from Texaco Co. as an oil analyst and was also a retired Chesapeake police officer. He was a member of Elizabeth Manor Golf and Country Club.
Survivors include his wife, Goldie M. Yensen; a daughter, Debbie Lovinger of Richmond; a stepdaughter, Margaret Robinson of Zuni; two stepsons, William Shelton of Chesapeake and James Shelton of Richmond; a brother, Linwood Yensen of Norfolk; and two grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Tom Potter. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
