Arthur Brown Poole, 88, of the 3000 block of Sunny Brooke Lane, a retired sales representative, died Nov. 10, 1995, in Hillhaven Nursing Home.
Mr. Poole was born in Keyport, N.J., and was retired from Nettleton Shoe Company. He was a member of St. George's By the River in Rumson, N.J. He was a U.S. Navy commander, served in World War II and completed his Navy career after serving more than six years. He graduated in 1929 with a bachelor of science degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, the Wharton School of Finance.
Survivors include his wife, Anne L. Poole; two sons, Richard G. Poole of Virginia Beach and his wife Dona, and Arthur L. Poole of Mount Vernon, Maine; two grandchildren, Garrett R. Poole and Ian G. Poole, both of Virginia Beach.
Burial will be private. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
