Claudia B. Gallegos, 49, of the 3600 block of Essex Pond Quay, died Nov. 11, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Gallegos was a schoolteacher at Lynnhaven Elementary School for 25 years. She attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She was a life member of the P.T.A., a graduate of Franklin High School and Methodist College in Fayetteville, N.C., and was teacher of the year at Lynnhaven Elementary School in 1995. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry P. and Claudine B. Brett.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Eric Gallegos of Virginia Beach; sisters, and a brother.
A memorial service will be conducted today at 6:30 p.m. by Father Thomas J. Caroluzza in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. Burial will be private.
A dear, dear child has left us.
