Several local convenience stores have been robbed by the same man and a security camera has taken his picture.
In each case, the robber has entered the store and demanded money from clerks while implying that he has a weapon.
From Sept. 20 to 28, five Tinee Giant Stores were robbed.
They are located in the 2000 block of Lafayette Blvd., the 600 block of Thole St., the 2700 block of E. Ocean View Ave., the 2800 block of Early St. and the 4000 block of Granby St.
Oct. 1 and 2, the same man robbed 7-Eleven stores in the 3800 block of Granby St. and the 5200 block of Colley Ave.
The suspect is described as black, in his mid-20s to early 30s, 6 feet tall and about 175 pounds. He sometimes wears a black sweatband on his head. [For a copy of the INFOLINE box, see microfilm.] by CNB
