Ruby Madeline Pugh, 84, of the 400 block of Taldan Ave., died Nov. 13, 1995, in the home of her son Edward.
She was a native of Roanoke, Va., and the widow of Van W. Pugh. She was a member of Lansdale Baptist Church. She was a Baptist and worked as a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Edward Smith, and his wife, Yvonne of Virginia Beach; brother, Herman Lee McDaniel of New Plymouth, Ohio; two grandchildren, Debra McCoy of Virginia Beach and Dori Wofford of Atlanta, Ga.; and two great-grandchildren, Mellisa and Amanda Douda of Virginia Beach.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday by Pastor James E. Womble. The family will receive friends at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Burial is in Rosewood Memorial Park.
