WILLIE BAINES

Willie Floyd Baines, 80, of the 300 block of Rainbow Drive, died Nov. 13, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General.

Mr. Baines was born in Nansemond County, Va. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for General Electric and was also a retired farmer. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Chesapeake, and a former member of Whaleyville United Methodist Church, Suffolk. He was a member of the McAlister Masonic Lodge (NU)185.

Survivors include wife, Minnie Taylor Baines; two daughters, Jean B. Sikorsky of Norfolk and Sandra B. Spivey of Windsor; two sons, Donnie E. Baines of Chesapeake and Jack T. Baines of Suffolk; three brothers, Raleigh J. Baines of Windsor, J. Irving Baines of Suffolk, and Jesse Thurman Baines of Newport News; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. by the Revs. Paul Forrester and Dave Libengood in Hill Funeral Home. Burial with Masonic Rites will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family in the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. and other times at the residence. Memorials may be made to the Bennetts Creek Rescue Squad, 3885 Bridge Road, Suffolk, Va. 23435.
