Mrs. Abbye Edwards Griffen passed away Nov. 7, 1995, in Maryview Convalescent Home in Raleigh, N.C.
She was predeceased by her husband, George Griffen. She leaves two stepchildren and several stepgrandchildren; also nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Griffen will always be remembered as a loving first grade teacher for twenty five years at Norview Elementary School. She then became principal at Broad Creek Village Elementary School. She returned to Norview Elementary as principal where she later retired.
She will be kindly remembered by her friends.
