Doris V. Murphy, 62, of the 3000 block of Davis St., died Nov. 10, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General.
She was born in Norfolk and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Norfolk. She was predeceased by her mother, Irene Jackson.
Survivors include four daughters, Diane, Michelle, Sheryl, and Vernette; six sons, Eugene, John, Kevin, Melvin, Micheal, and Garry; father, Luther Sawyer; one brother, Vernon Sawyer; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at noon in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Garden, Norfolk. E.A. Hughes Funeral Home in charge. Visitation will be at the funeral home today. Family will assemble at the residence at 11:15 a.m. for the procession to the church.
