Margaret R. Taylor, 85, of the 2700 block of Myrtle Ave., died Nov. 12, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Taylor, the widow of Leroy Taylor, was a native of Norfolk County. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Chesapeake, and a former member of St. Paul AMEZ, Maysville, N.C.
Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Irene Bracey of Norfolk; one son, Thomas Bracey of Norfolk; two sisters, Elsie Goode of Norfolk, Blanche Spence of Chespeake; one brother, Marcelus Bracey of Norfolk; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Macedonia Baptist Church by the Rev. George Davis. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, Portsmouth, and Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Family and friends will assemble at 2731 Myrtle Ave., Norfolk, at noon for the procession to the church.
