Glen Sarah Dixon Brangan, 84, a former resident of Norfolk, died Monday, Nov. 13, 1995, in a Harrisonburg, Va., hospital.
She was born in Suffolk and was the daughter of the late Lillie Mae Fulwood and Arthur Lester Brangan. She was the widow of Marvin L. Brangan Sr. Mrs. Brangan was a former member and elder of Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church in Norfolk.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Hunt of Charlotte, N.C.; three sons, Lee Brangan of Laurel, Md., John C. Brangan of Norfolk, and Marvin L. Brangan Jr. of Virginia Beach; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 1995, in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. John R. Monroe. The family will be at Cox Funeral Home on Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. for visitation. In addition, a memorial service will be conducted at Sunnyside Presbyterian Home in Harrisonburg on Saturday at 3 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Sunnyside Presbyterian Home, 100 Sunnyside Drive, Harrisonburg, Va. 22801.
