Elliott Everett Hoffer, 80, of the 6400 block of Auburn Drive, died Nov. 12, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
A Norfolk native, he attended the University of Virginia, was a combat veteran of World War II, and was in the furniture business until retirement in 1980.
Survivors include his wife, Trudy Nordlinger Hoffer; a daughter, Melissa Ann Miller of Virginia Beach; and two granddaughters, Jennifer and Jacquelyn Miller.
A chapel service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, by Rabbi Aaron Baer. Internment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Beth Shalom Home of Virginia Beach where he was lovingly cared for. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, are handling arrangements.
