CRIME REPORT - SUFFOLK

DISTRICT A

Armed robbery, 6100 block Bradford Drive, Oct. 26, a pizza delivery man was robbed of $23 and four large pizzas, chicken wings and bread sticks by a man wearing a Halloween mask and waving a gun.

Breaking and entering, 6200 block Town Point Road, Oct. 30, someone entered a residence through an unlocked window. A 13-inch black and white TV and food were removed. A wallet and small metal box were searched, but nothing was taken.

DISTRICT B

Breaking and entering, 5400 block Nansemond Parkway, Oct. 26, someone pried open the door of a business. Two computers, one Panasonic printer, one Mirata fax machine, one Panasonic answering machine and three AT&T phones were removed.

Grand larceny, 5900 block Godwin Blvd., Oct. 26., someone removed a gray-blue '73 Ford Bronco by driving it through a fence. The vehicle had a ``for sale'' sign in the window. Keys had been left under the seat.

Petty larceny, 300 block North Main St., Oct. 26, someone removed a Suffolk city decal from a vehicle.

Breaking and entering, 5400 block Nansemond Parkway, Oct. 27, someone attempted to enter a televison station by prying open the door with a metal bar, causing $50 in damage.

Petty larceny, 2300 block Wilroy Road, Oct. 30, someone removed the license plates from a vehicle parked at a business.

DISTRICT C

Petty larceny, 700 block North Main St., Oct. 26, someone removed a Prism cellular phone from a '87 Ford pickup truck.

Breaking and entering, 600 block Mason Ave., Oct. 28, someone returned home to find his front door open. A Samsung VCR, a microwave oven and 30 assorted CD's had been removed. Dresser drawers had been ransacked.

Armed robbery, 800 block 2nd Ave., Oct. 28, a man was forced to the ground by a group, one of whom was displaying a pistol. They removed $350 from his pocket and began shooting. The man was running from the scene when he was grazed by a bullet.

Breaking and entering, 500 block Mason Ave., Oct. 31, someone forced open a side door to a house. A microwave oven, a Sega CD video game player and an AM/FM dual cassette player were removed.

Breaking and entering, 100 block North Main St., Nov. 1, someone broke into a business by kicking open the rear door. Several items of clothing totaling $4,300 were removed.

Petty larceny, 1200 block North Main St., Nov. 1, someone broke the left rear window of a '91 Mercury and removed a Panasonic VCR.

DISTRICT D

Grand larceny, 2300 block East Washington St., Oct. 26, someone removed three instruments from the John F. Kennedy Middle School band room: an Artley flute, a Bundy flute and a Leblanc alto clarinet.

Breaking and entering, 100 block County St., Oct. 30, someone entered a trailer by breaking the rear latches. Seven 110-pound bags of peanuts valued at $500 were removed.

Breaking and entering, 200 block East Pinner St., Oct. 30, someone entered a residence by breaking the door latch. The owner is unsure if anything is missing.

Breaking and entering, 100 block East Pinner St., Oct. 31, someone entered a business by prying open a rear window. Missing items include an antique model OB1-plane valued at $125, a cigar box of pennies with about $35 in coins, three pocket knives and a statue of a monkey.

DISTRICT F

Grand larceny, 200 block Airport Road, Oct. 30, someone removed a Cessna receiver/transmitter valued at $600 and a King transponder valued at $1,200 from a plane under repair. ILLUSTRATION: STAFF MAP
