CLARIFICATION: A story in Thursday's Business News section about
a Canadian Football League team coming to Hampton Roads contained
comments by Rich Rogers, a banker. Those comments reflected only
Rogers' views and not those of his employer, NationsBank.

A Business News story in Thursday's newspaper about FHA and VA
loans erroneously stated that First Home Mortgage of Virginia Beach
does not have the delegated authority to underwrite or close FHA or
VA loans. First Home Mortgage has had, and continues to have,
underwriting authority. The story also mistakenly stated that First
Home Mortgage decided to stop processing loans during the partial
shutdown of the federal government. First Home Mortgage continues to
process and close loans. We regret any inconvenience to First Home
Mortgage.
