Norfolk City Council wisely lowered the speed limit on Kempsville Road.
Unfortunately, a lot of motorists don't obey this new speed limit, including, sad to say, the school buses from Lake Taylor schools. Cars are crossing the double yellow line in order to get around drivers who are going the speed limit. This is an accident waiting to happen.
City Council needs to ensure that proper policing is in place so that violators, including school buses, are ticketed.
