Myrtle Mansfield Stone, 76, of the 1100 block of Eppington Drive, died Nov. 14, 1995, in her home.
She was a homemaker and a native of Hertford, N.C. She was the widow of Thomas Delbert Stone. Mrs. Stone was a Baptist.
She is survived by four daughters, Shirley Ann Patcheak of Torrance, Calif., Frances E. Bear of El Paso, Texas, A. Marie M. Kaufmann of Virginia Beach and Jane Demboski of Pennsylvania; son, James H. Gresham of Norfolk; sisters, Margaret Cahoon of Norfolk, Jo Ann Neathery of Virginia Beach, Betty Kahlert of Norfolk; two brothers, Sam Mansfield and Oscar Mansfield of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at noon Saturday by the Rev. Fritz Stegemann in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m and at other times at the residence.
