Russell G. Hudson, 64, passed away Nov. 16, 1995, in a local hospital.
Master Chief Data Processor Hudson retired from the U.S. Navy in October 1983 after 30 years of service. He retired from the State in 1994, after working for Virginia ABC stores at Hilltop. Russ was a member of NCOA and the Fleet Reserve Association.
He is survived by his wife, Janice; one daughter, Gara Lyn Hudson of Tampa, Fla.; three sisters, Agnes Williams of Cheverly, Md., Sue Koone and Nancy Newberry, both of Oak Hill, W.Va.; one brother, Ken Hudson of Floyd, Va.; also several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 18, 1995, at 2 p.m. in Pembroke Lake Apts. Community Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice or the American Cancer Society. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
