Edward Earl Pace Sr., 75, died Nov. 15, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mr. Pace, a retired warehouse foreman, was a native of Luxora, Ark. He was the widower of Bessie P. Pace and he served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Dudley of Chesapeake, Marlene Phillips and Vickie Quandts, both of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, Edward Earl Pace Jr. and Dannie Lee Pace, both of Portsmouth; three sisters, Lola M. Sweatt of Zephryhills, Fla., Mary E. Pace and Jean O'Brien, both of Richmond, Va.; one brother, Cameron Pace Sr. of Greenwood, Miss.; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Larry Chambers. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
