BARBARA J. COPPER

Barbara Jean Copper, 63, of the 2700 block of Dunkirk Ave., died Nov. 14, 1995, in her residence.

She was a native of Norfolk and a member of the Church of God In Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie Copper; one daughter, Beverly Copper Anthony of Norfolk; three stepdaughters, Barbara Ann Green of Greenville, N.C., Willie Mae Stephenson of Grime Land, N.C., Cassandra Palmer of Norfolk; one son-in-law, Arthur Anthony Sr. of Norfolk; four sisters, Shirley Jordan, Delores Mayfield, Velma Smith, Romanza Minor, all of Norfolk; one brother, John E. Claiborne Jr. of Norfolk; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in New Bethel Church of God In Christ, Norfolk, by Pastor Lonell Anthony. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The body will be placed in the church on Saturday at 11 a.m. Family and friends will assemble at 2716 Dunkirk Ave., Norfolk, on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. for the funeral procession to the church.
