William S. Butler Jr., 49, died Nov. 17, 1995.
Mr. Butler was a loan officer with AccuBanc Mortgage Corp. He was a native of Wellsboro, Pa., and served three years in the U.S. Army, including a tour in Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Jan; two children, Jennifer, a sophomore at Longwood College, and John, a junior at Kempsville High School; his mother, Dr. Anne K. Butler of Wellsboro; his sister, Ellen Kearns of Willingboro, N.J.; and his brother, Terry Butler of Sayre, Pa.
A joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be held at the Church of the Ascension, 4853 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
Visitation will be at the church from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday evening. Burial will be in Pennsylvania. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
