Bertha Elnore Smith, 81, died Nov. 17, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Smith, the widow of Ronald Wesley Smith, was a native of Point Pleasant, W.Va.
Survivors include one daughter, Merry C. Schneider, and her husband, Don, of Virginia Beach; one son, John R. Smith, and his wife, Zane, of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Mildred Crossley of Chesapeake, Mary Doxey of Hertford, N.C., Virginia Waddell of Portsmouth; three brothers, Andrew Condee of Portsmouth, Howard Condee of Brentwood, Md., James Condee of Silver Springs, Md.; four grandchildren, Kathy Tolley of Phoenix, Ariz., Lindsey Hoy of Smithfield, Va., Karen Heath and Kim Parker, both of Chesapeake; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Olive Branch Cemetery by Dr. Paul C. Bailey. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
