One sentence was dropped from a letter to the editor from Ken Johnson in the Nov. 5 Carolina Coast. Johnson, contending a second high school is not needed in Dare County, said that although a task force predicted that there would be an estimated 1,669 high school students in the year 2000, enrollment in grades 4-7 now indicates there will be only about 1,100 high school students in the year 2000. That is enough for one high school, but not two, Johnson wrote. by CNB
