She was the beloved mother of Lorraine S. Hughes; mother-in-law of Capt. Haywood Hughes; grandmother of Amy Hughes Turner; and sister of the late Vivian Carroll.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Pumphrey's Colonial Funeral Home, Rockville, is in charge of arrangements.
