Virtexco Corp. in Norfolk received a $978,650 Contract A and $1.4 million Contract B for additions and renovations in various locations of Chesapeake. E.V. Williams Co. Inc. in Norfolk received a $1.3 million contract for drainage improvements at Princess Anne Plaza, Phase II Part 1.

W.M. Jordan Co. Inc. in Norfolk received a $32.5 million contract for Chesapeake Middle Schools at the Cedar Road site and Hickory Road site.

D.K. Nunnally Co. in Newport News received a $757,599 contract for additions and alterations at Bethel High School in Hampton.

Business bankruptcies filed in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Norfolk:
