Warren Powell Lively, 86, formerly of Portsmouth, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 1995, in Richmond.
A native of Portsmouth, he was the son of the late Charles R. and Eva Elizabeth Powell Lively and was the widower of Sarah Frances Gayle Lively. He was retired from Charles R. Lively Co. as a real estate and insurance broker. Mr. Lively was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Portsmouth Kiwanis Club, Portsmouth Historical Society and served as a lieutenant with the U.S. Maritime Service during World War II.
Survivors include a son, Carter C. Lively of Frankfort, Ky.; and a brother, Raymond Lee Lively of Richmond.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in St. John's Episcopal Church by the Rev. Brian Hobden. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will be at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. The family suggest that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, Portsmouth.
