Michael A. ``Boo'' McCormick, 20, of the 5600 block of Darby Close, died Nov. 17, 1995, in Portsmouth.

He was born in Portsmouth.

Survivors include a son, Javon Scott of Portsmouth; his mother, Clyda O. McCormick of Portsmouth; his father, John A. McCormick of Littleton, N.C.; a sister, Janet Marshall of Chesapeake; three brothers, James Bryant, John Bryant and Jeremiah Bryant, all of Portsmouth; maternal grandparents, Bruce Gray and Alberta Gray, both of Portsmouth; maternal great-grandmother, Willia Gray of Portsmouth; paternal grandmother, Viola McCormick of Littleton; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends; and a devoted friend, Tinesha Blackmore of Portsmouth.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Corprew Funeral Home by Bishop Kenneth Walker. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. The family will be at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Gray, 1919 Charleston Ave., Portsmouth, and will assemble there for the funeral service. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
