Sherman E. Burnham, 82, of the 4000 block of Lakeview Drive, died Nov. 18, 1995, in Maryview Medical Center.
Mr. Burnham was born in Norfolk County and was the widower of Catherine Burnham. He was retired from Seaboard Coastline Railroad after 30 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Beryl B. Rooks of Chesapeake; a sister, Merle Peterson of Norfolk; a grandchild, Amy Sargent of Chesapeake; a great-granddaughter, Brea Sargent of Chesapeake and a son-in-law, William N. Rooks of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
