Alice T. Riggan, 77, of the 9400 block of Willow Court, died Nov. 19, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Riggan was born in Norfolk and was a homemaker. She was a member of Bayview United Church of Christ, a long time member of Girl Scouts of America and a volunteer with Haven House in Ocean View.
Survivors include her husband, Ellis P. Riggan; a daughter, Julia R. McCallister of Richmond; a son, James Dallas Riggan of Virginia Beach, a sister, Margaret T. Siler of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Bayview United Church of Christ by Dr. Richard E. Prince. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
