Shirley Ann Meeks, 61, of the 1100 block of Cherokee Road, died Nov. 18, 1995, in her residence.
She was a native of Alamance County, N.C., and was retired from Beverly Enterprises where she was a keypunch supervisor.
Survivors include her mother, Virgie Cable Carden of Virginia Beach; three daughters, Donna E. Cook of Clarksburg, W.Va., Teresa M. Snider of Portsmouth, and Jennifer D. Clark of Virginia Beach; two sons, Hal Meeks of Carthage, N.C., and James M. Meeks of Hampton, Va.; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel.
