OCTAVIA T. HILL

Octavia T. Hill, of the 1300 block of Lead St., died Nov. 17, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Hill was born in Isle of Wight County. She was the widow of Robert R. Hill Sr.

Survivors include six daughters, Ann E. Johnson of Chula Vista, Colo., Catherine B. Hill of Philadelphia, Barbara G. Hill of Virginia Beach, Marion L. Boose, Carolyn H. Bates, Veronica G. Hill, all of Norfolk; four sons, Robert R. Hill Sr. and Glenn O. Hill of Virginia Beach, Howard L. Hill and Allen E. Hill of Norfolk; one brother, Edward Spratley of Norfolk; and three sisters, Shirley Parsons of Newport News, Barbara E. Brody and Dorothy Spratley of Columbus, Ohio; 28 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, 1995, in Garden of Prayer (NU)3 COGIC, by Elder Leroy Ellsworths. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the residence, 1308 Lead St., Apt. A, Norfolk. Graves Funeral Home is in charge.
