Rose L. Bailey, 83, of the 1400 block of Summitt Ave., died Nov. 19, 1995, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
She was a retired technician at Portsmouth General Hospital and a native of Portsmouth. She was a former member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Portsmouth.
Survivors include two daughters, Rose Thompson and Mamie R. Dudley, both of Portsmouth; one son, Cornelius E.L. Reynolds of Portsmouth; one sister, Christine Cowell of Chesapeake; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Corprew Funeral Home Chapel, Portsmouth, by Elder James Freeman. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at 2 p.m. today. The family will be at the home of her son, Cornelius E.L. Reynolds, 167 Allard Road, Portsmouth, and will assemble there for the funeral service.
