A woman was killed Monday when she stepped into the path of a car traveling on Great Bridge Boulevard near River Walk Parkway, police said.
The elderly woman, who was unidentified as of Monday evening, was walking west along Great Bridge Boulevard around noon when she stepped into the road. A car traveling west hit her and she died at the scene.
The name of the driver wasn't released Monday, and no charges had been filed.
