As people arose ready to attend the annual Veterans Day Parade, they were greeted with front-page news, ``Flap over flag leads to boycott of march.'' This had to be very shocking news to people who were planning the event. At first glance, it indicated that there could be trouble and the event should possibly be avoided.
By highlighting a problem that involved one person and focusing so much of your space on this topic, you did a great disservice to the many whom the ceremonies were intended to honor. Were there no stories about the men and women who were the real heroes and truly deserved the attention?
