George Solomon Lassiter Jr., 70, of 124 Grove Ave., died Nov. 21, 1995.
A native of Sunbury, N.C., he was the son of the late George Solomon Lassiter Sr., and Maggie Taylor Lassiter. Mr. Lassiter was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church, the Boykins Masonic Lodge (NU)287, and AARP. He was a retired manager and an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Merlen Gray Lassiter; and his daughter, Ruan Gray Harbour of Ocean City, Md.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, by Dr. Alan Felumlee. The family will be at the home. R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
