Jody Lee ``Jay'' Paugh Jr., 6, of Route 1, died Monday night, Nov. 20, 1995, in The Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, Norfolk.
Jay was a native of Gates County. He was a kindergartner at Sunbury Elementary School.
Surviving are his parents, Jody Lee Sr. and Paula Holland Paugh; two sisters, Jessica Elaine Holland and Ashley Nicole Paugh, both of the home; maternal grandmother, Judy Hollowell Holland of Sunbury; maternal grandfather, Robert Holland of Suffolk; paternal grandparents, Leslie and Trevor Paugh of Corapeake; maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert P. Hollowell Sr. of Sunbury and Wilma N. Holland of Suffolk.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Damascus Christian Church Cemetery by the Rev. Riddick Pearce, Rev. Billy Presley, and Chaplain Bennie Kingwood. Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville is in charge of funeral arrangements. Friends may join the family following the service in the social hall of Damascus Church and other times at the home of his maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert P. Hollowell Sr. of Sunbury. Memorial contributions may be made in Jay's memory to The Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, 601 Childrens Lane, Norfolk, Va. 23507.
