Carolyn Sue Murden, 51, of the 1700 block of Mt. Pleasant Road, died Nov. 20, 1995.
Mrs. Murden was a teacher's assistant for 20 years at Butts Road Primary School. She was a native of Washington, N.C., and a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, Chesapeake.
Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Murden Sr.; three daughters, Rebecca, Maureen and Karen; three sons, Robert, Samuel and Donald; one brother and sister-in-law, Samuel and Mary Crews; and five grandchildren, Tabatha, Debra, Mark, Robin, and Robert III.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church by the Rev. Robert Sowder and the Rev. Tom Mercer. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, and at the residence at all other times.
