Anthony James ``Tony'' Gavin, 17, a student at Lake Taylor High School, died Nov. 20, 1995, in a local hospital. Mr. Gavin was a Catholic.
Survivors include his mother, Helen M. Reilly of Norfolk; one sister, Christine Gavin of New Market, N.H.; one brother, Craig Hagley of Davis, W.Va.; maternal grandmother, Virginia Reilly of Norfolk; two aunts, Judy Bruce of Norfolk and Maureen Reilly Kesslen of Virginia Beach; an uncle, Dan Reilly of Virginia Beach; and numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Leonard Reilly; and two uncles, Dennis Reilly and Richard Kesslen.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Edward Richardson. The family will receive friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Life Net.
