Edna Daniel Harris, 77, of the 200 block of Monitor Road, died Nov. 22, 1995, in Bon Secours-Maryview Nursing Care Center.
Mrs. Harris, a lifelong resident of Portsmouth, was born in Red Oak, Va., and was the widow of Maywood R. Harris Sr. She was a member of Portsmouth Christian Church and past member of Cottage Place Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Harris Dorn of Virginia Beach; a son, Maywood R. ``Ray'' Harris Jr. of Portsmouth; a sister, Mary Belle Maynard of Fredericksburg, Va; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Brewer Harris of Portsmouth and one son-in-law, William J. Dorn of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Greenlawn Mausoleum Chapel. Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Portsmouth Christian Church or the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at her residence.
