Mary Griffith Jolley, 83, of the 1200 block of Jewell Ave., died Tuesday Nov. 21, 1995,in her home.
Mrs. Jolley, a native of Cleveland County, N.C., was a private duty nurse and the widow of Sidney B. Jolley.
Survivors include her two daughters, Margaret J. Judge of Virginia Beach, Joyce J. Cobb of Portsmouth; a son, Richard K. Jolley of Livermore, Calif.; five grandchildren, Kenny Jolley, Tony Jolley, Butch Calhoun, Stephen Cobb, Lance Jolley; and five great-grandchildren, Samantha, T.J., and Taylor Jolley, Chris and Ryan Jolley.
A funeral will be held on Saturday Nov. 25, 1995 at 2 p.m. in Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth.
