MAXINE DELORES WHITE

Maxine Delores White, 62, loving wife of Vance C. White, and devoted mother of Carolyn Y. Uhrich of Kendall Park, N.J., Maxine D. Keys of Chesapeake, Teresa Hess of Elk Grove, Calif., and Kevin W. White of Lakeridge, Va., died on Nov. 21, 1995 of lung cancer at home.

Born in Norfolk, Mrs. White resided with her husband, ``Buck'', in Springfield, Va., and in Northern. Va. for 33 years. An active and dedicated member of The Church of Christ, she served our Lord and all those in need. She was an avid gardener, who loved fishing and dancing with her husband.

She was a loving grandmother to Donovan, Brian, Heath, Ian, Ross and Amanda; and great-grandmother to Sabrina. She is also survived by three sisters, Ida Geneva Key and Sylvia Mowery of Virginia Beach and Yvonne Poole of Las Vegas, N.V.

Memorial services will be held in Northern Virginia on Friday. Burial will be at Olive Branch Cemetery in Portsmouth, Va. on Saturday, Nov. 25. Procession from Loving Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Services will be conducted by Pastor George Winegeart, Springfield Church of Christ.
