Winnie Taylor Nelson, 79, of the 3500 block of Executive Center Drive, died Nov. 21, 1995, in Suffolk.
She was a native of Horntown, Va., and was the widow of Paul Nelson Sr. She was a member of United Congregational Christian Church, Portsmouth, and was a retired private duty nurse. She was also a member of Beazley Senior Citizens Center.
Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy N. ``Dot'' Affeldt, and son-in-law, Bill Affeldt of Portsmouth; son, Paul Nelson Jr. of Altanta; sister, Grace Hooks of Pocomoke City, Md.; two brothers, Clarence ``Buddy'' Taylor of Wilmington, Del. and Elridge Taylor of Pocomoke City; two grandchildren, Bill Affeldt Jr. and his wife, Libby of Atlanta, Bob Affeldt and his wife, Debbie of Chesapeake; and three great-grandchildren, Jessica, Allison and Amanda.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by the Rev. Donald H. Seely. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
