James L. Blake, 84, of Marion Manor, died Nov. 21, 1995, in Chesapeake.
He was a native of West Orange, N.J., and was a retired printer. He was the widower of Marian Hooper Blake and was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. He was a volunteer at Norfolk Academy and RSVP.
Survivors include three daughters, Ellen Graham of Chesapeake; Judy Barnes of San Clemente, Calif., and Kathleen Krun of Wilmington, Del. He was predeceased by two daughters, Bonnie Stackhouse and Anne Griswold.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church by Father Christian Haydinger. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Norfolk Academy. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, is in charge.
