Beverly A. Mason, of the 1700 block of Head of River Road, died Nov. 22, 1995.
She was a member of New Oak Grove Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, where she was on the usher board and choir (NU)2. She was a 1973 graduate of Norfolk State University.
She is survived by her husband, Otis E. Mason; goddaughter, Fera M. Williams of Virginia Beach; two sons, Ellis S. Mason and Kevin Mason, both of Chesapeake; parents, Helen World and Dalton World Sr., both of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Helen World, Bessie Griffin, both of Virginia Beach, Loren Taylor of Elizabeth City, N.C., Queen Hanson of Boston; five brothers, Dalton World Jr. of Virginia Beach, William World of Chesapeake, Harvey World and Linwood World, both of Elizabeth City, N.C., and Leeronia World of Memphis, Tenn.; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Dr. O.L. Cromwell II in New Oak Grove Baptist Church. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk, is in charge.
