Polly Savage Morris, 80, formerly of 600 West St., had made her home with her daughter for the past 13 years. She died Nov. 22, 1995, in Hampton Woods Board and Care, Jackson, N.C.
She was a retired sales clerk for Belk Tyler Dept. Store where she had worked for 22 years. She was a native of Bertie County, N.C., and was the widow of William J. ``Buck'' Morris. She was a member of Ahoskie United Methodist Church and a graduate of Louisburg College.
She is survived by her daughter, Frances Morris Hedspeth of Conway, N.C.; son-in-law, Tom Hedspeth of Conway; and one grandson, William J. Hedspeth of Chapel Hill.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Rob Hammond in Highland Memorial Gardens, Ahoskie. The family will be at the home of Frances and Tom Hedspeth of Route 2, Conway. Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is in charge.
