CORRECTION

The hook-and-line season for striped bass in the Albemarle Sound

area opened Wednesday. A caption under a picture Wednesday had an

incorrect opening day. The season, now set to end at midnight Dec.

31, allows fishing for striped bass only on Wednesdays, Saturdays

and Sundays. Two fish, of at least 21 inches, may be taken each

day.
