Three Virginia Beach people were winners at the 1995 Stockley Gardens Fall Arts festival by Hope House Foundation. They are: Ann L. Grandy, best in show, $1,000, drawing; Tom Barnes, award of merit, $125, painting; and Mike Guyer, Tidewater Community College, Virginia Beach campus, futures awards, student exhibition, second prize, $100, drawing.

Lorraine M. Eaton, youth editor at The Virginian-Pilot, has achieved certified journalism educator status from the Journalism Education Association and has been honored at the fall JEA/NSPA National Convention in Kansas City, Mo.
