THOMAS C. BOBBITT JR.

Thomas Carl Bobbitt Jr., 74, of the 5100 block of Amberly Road, died Nov. 22, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General.

He was retired from the U.S. Government, civil service, where he worked for 28 years. He was a native of Warrington, N.C. and a member of Community United Methodist. He was also a member of the Kempsville Masonic Lodge No. 0196 and he served in the Army during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Bobbitt of Virginia Beach; son, Thomas Carl Bobbitt III of Norfolk and wife, Janet; sister, Louise and Elvis Allan Harris of Henderson, N.C.; two grandchildren, Thomas Carl Bobbitt IV and Krystal Louise Bobbitt, both of Norfolk; and many beloved family and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Warren Wilson in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. There will be a visitation at Kellum Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, today from 6 to 8 p.m.
