JANE A. MOORE

Jane Adamson Moore, 67, of the 2200 block of Rodman Ave., died Nov. 22, 1995, in her residence.

She was a native of Asheville, N.C. She was a retired secretary for the Portsmouth Sheriff's Department. She was also a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Portsmouth, Treasurer of DAV Auxiliary, State of Virginia Commander DAV Chapter 41 Auxiliary, and treasurer of the Portsmouth Republican Women's Club.

She is survived by her husband, Bernard O. ``Pete'' Moore; four daughters, Katharine Randall Koon of Portsmouth, Carolyn Jane Dail of Suffolk, Mary Anne Cowfer of Chesapeake, and Susan Moore Collins of South Mills, N.C.; brother, Alan F. Moore of Rocky Mount, N.C.; eight grandchildren, Michelle Koon, Cindy Clopp, Jennifer Tracy, Michael Tracy, Debra Bailey, Dennis Bailey, Rebecca Collins and Billy Collins; eight stepgrandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Joseph G. Savinsky. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
