Dorothy Leah Cannon Jones, of Arlington, Va., a former resident of the 2300 block of Baylake Road, in the Baylake Pines Section of Virginia Beach, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 1995, in an Alexandria, Va., hospital.
She was born in Norfolk, and was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Duncan and Edward J. Cannon, who was the former fire chief of the City of Norfolk. Mrs. Jones was the widow of James Lingon Jones Sr. and while a resident of the area attended Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Virginia Beach.
Survivors include a son, J. Lingon ``Lynn'' Jones Jr. of Orlando, Fla.; and a sister, Josephine C. Lee of Norfolk.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, 1995, in Riverside Memorial Park in Norfolk by Dr. Paul B. Watlington Jr. The family will be at Cox Funeral Home on Saturday from 7 till 8 p.m. for visitation.
